Nepal produces strong engineers and sends most of them abroad. Remittances are a quarter of GDP; the pipeline of talent leaving is treated as an export industry. The people who stay and build companies do it largely alone.
There's no YC for Nepal. No structured peer group, no operator network, no default path from a Kathmandu office to a global customer. Founders figure out incorporation, payments, and hiring one painful improvisation at a time.
We think that's fixable, and cheaper to fix than people assume. The raw material is already here. Strong technical talent, low costs, founders who have seen global products from the inside. What's missing is structure. That's what we're building.
